Would love to get a customized proposal worked up for you and your event with Scranton’s Restaurant and Catering. Our costs for food and beverage services differ from event to event with multiple variables going into the final price point. Variables include final headcount, final timeline, menu and beverage options, bar services, china vs. disposables, level of service, etc.

Our full service catering proposals for 100+ usually average around $35-45/person. With that being said, we have produced events for as low as $25/person all the way up to $100+/person. Our full-service production team handles all aspects of your event including set-up, food and beverage services, bar services, clean-up during the event including trash removal from tables, handling spills and replacing trash cans as needed as well as breakdown and clean-up of the venue space; mopping, sweeping and shutting down in general.

For bar services, Scranton’s can provide a full bar set-up for you and either host a cash bar or a client hosted open bar. For a hosted bar, we take an inventory of what’s behind the bar and an inventory after and only bill you for what’s consumed during the event. You may also provide all of the beer, wine and/or spirits for us to serve and once it’s gone, it’s gone, or whatever is leftover we will pack up to return to the liquor store or send home with the hosts. We can also provide a cash bar set-up where your guests will pay for their drinks.

    What is the Production Fee?

The production fee is an additional charge that is used to cover certain additional costs that are associated with each event. These additional costs cover everything that goes into planning and producing your event from the initial phone call or consultation to the transporting and display equipment needed for your event and wrapping up with the clean-up and sometimes messy venue requirements that we don’t want you to have to worry about. Including but not limited to the following: Administrative costs such as appointments, scheduling, ordering, paperwork, proposal preparation, licensing and banking. We also have other indirect costs such as office & setup staff that work behind the scenes on every event, but aren’t included in your labor fees. Liability insurance to cover any damages or injuries caused by our staff or our equipment to any guests or property. This relieves the client of liability or responsibility when an accident is our fault. Vehicle insurance and costs not covered by a delivery/fuel charge. The production fee helps offset the costs of going the extra mile, such as handling the rental equipment and assisting with the non-catering related elements of a party, wedding or event.
